Finance Manager, System Implementation (MNC Luxury Retail)

Our client is a luxury retail brand with international presence. To cope with the expansion in Asia Pacific, they are now inviting high caliber candidates to join their team as a Finance Manager specialized in system implementation project.

Position Responsibilities

* Reporting to the Regional Accounting Director
* Project leader of the new enterprise accounting system implementation across Asia
* Lead the accounting team in the deployment of a new enterprise accounting system across Asia, collaborating with IT on user requirements, testing and related changes on work process and procedures
* Responsible in identifying and reporting issues and risk related to new system project, ensure timely roll-out per project timeline
* Handling all the related reporting for local markets. Ensuring compliance with US GAAP, Sarbanes-Oxley, other SEC requirements, and Corporate policies and procedures for the purposes of reporting to the Parent company as well as with local GAAP (IFRS or other local GAAP) and other requirements as applicable to each market
* Deliver monthly, quarterly, and annual reporting to the Parent company, as well as compliance with any local statutory reporting requirements
* Oversight of all transaction processing activities, including Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, and Payroll, including management with third party providers as applicable
* Oversight of tax compliance, including income, payroll, and VAT taxes, including coordination with Corporate and third-party provider resource
* Ensuring performance of appropriate control procedures including account reconciliations, management reviews, and other procedures as appropriate and in accordance with Company policies and procedures
* Coordination of audit activities with external financial audit firms
* Oversight of regulatory compliance activities, including tax or other governmental audits, and coordination with Corporate and third-party resources as appropriate
* Identifying and implementing strategies to drive continuous improvement and operating efficiencies across the Region

Position Requirements

* Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or related Business discipline
* 10+ years of general accounting experience, as well as 3-5 years of relevant supervisory and management experience in a financial environment, retail industry experience is a MUST
* Experience in a multinational corporate environment
* Experience in implementing new ERP accounting system, SAP/ JDE Enterprise One preferred
* Chartered Accountant, Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or equivalent
* Outgoing personality with strong communication skills
* Excellent analytical skills and ability to apply sound business judgment
* Fluency in English and Mandarin, excellent written English and Chinese
* Experience in managing third party service provider
