Financial Controller (MNC FMCG)

Our client is an international FMCG brand with headquarter based in the United States. To cope with the expansion in Asia Pacific, they are now inviting high caliber candidates to join their team as a Financial Controller.

Position Responsibilities

* A key member in the HK management committee
* Partner with the President in managing and maintaining a highly effective organization
* Responsible for the reporting to the Region and Headquarter: Accounting full books set and management reporting
* Assist the President in financial and business decisions
* Partner with the President & Sales Director in strategic decisions in stores
* Develop budgets and follow-up in controlling and auditing
* Responsible for cash-flow management
* Contribute in redefining all process of operations and reporting according to the main different distribution channels: Department stores, Perfumeries, Boutiques, Spa
* Supervise procurement activities/processes
* Lead Financial Planning & Analysis
* Drive ROI analysis on marketing activities
* Improve inventory management and follow-up
* Handle relationships with banks and external auditors
* Coordinate between the subsidiary and the Group on all legal issues
* Set up/ improve systems, policies and processes
* Select, negotiate and manage outsourced IT vendors and warehouse vendors
* Ensure high level of IT support and services for the office and stores are maintained
* Supervise office administration team for general office support
* Maintain high level of internal controls and stewardship

Position Requirements

* University graduated with Business or Accounting degree; qualified accountant is a MUST
* Relevant at least 12 years' experience in general accounting and financial analysis; experience in Retail/ FMCG industry are a MUST.
* Solid management experiences of supervising and coaching a team
* Excellent information management, organizational, problem analysis and problem solving skills
* Attention to detail and accuracy with strong sense of urgency
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English and Chinese
