Job description

Financial Planning & Analysis Manager, Asia (Luxury Retail)

Our client is a leading luxury fashion brand with international presence. We are assisting them to look for a Financial Planning & Analysis Manager to join their growing team in Asia region.

Position Responsibilities

* Review and support for all FP&A activities of Asia regions, mainly focus on Greater China markets. Responsible for variance analysis.
* Assist senior manager to drive the budget/forecast process, providing insightful commentaries to senior management
* Execute business performance analytics including store opening, investment/divestment, capital budgeting, and inventory planning
* Support and partner with cross-function units and markets on key business initiatives and projects at the local and regional level
* Support regional & local functional initiatives to support strategic business plan. Support the finance team on project plans design and implement it effectively by monitoring the work of project team. Develop financial models and reports for management to review project progress, track variance against project budget/ forecast, all financial issues and financial project metrics
* Develop relevant dashboard reporting and assist in prepare consolidated management reports. Analyze key performance indicator / drivers to measure business and operation performance.
* Assist with Retail KPI project, data mining and business intelligence
* Analyze financial and business data, identifying trends and variances and recommending actions to management
* Assists with the preparation of monthly business update package, presentation tools and decks for senior management
* Assist in ongoing process improvement and cost efficiencies for the organization and target to deliver process simplification and driving standardization and efficiencies

Position Requirements

* Bachelor's degree in accounting or business, qualified accountant with at least 7 years of experience and with regional exposure
* Ability to interpret and utilize key process data; strong analytically minded and can quickly identify insights and tell a story with data
* Excellent planning and prioritization skills with strong project management capabilities
* Ability to interact with all organizational levels and demonstrate a professional presence
* Highly motivated; demonstrates a "can-do" approach in being proactive with work assignments
* Willing to take up challenge, demonstrate flexibility and adapt to a fast pace environment
* Experience in a dynamic multinational organization; knowledge of retail industry or FMCG and Greater China Markets preferred
* Fluent in spoken and written English, Chinese and Mandarin
* Experience in leading a small team will be an advantage
* Outstanding computer skills including Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, knowledge of ERP system, SAP / Hyperion
* Candidate with more experience will consider as Planning and Control Manager
