Our client is an international leading retail group. They are looking for a high caliber General Manager to support their continuously growing business based in Hong Kong. Key responsibilities include: * Report to Managing Director, manage a sizable retail operations and sales team * Forecast the recurrent expenditure and estimate the sales budgets in consultation with the Managing Director and the Director of Operations and Control * Make sales and profitability goals and achieve the target through strategic planning and control of the budgets * Work closely with the partners including Marketing and Merchandising teams to achieve the company's common goal * Set the roadmap of the sell and product plans to outreach different type of customers in order to maximize the profitability * Keep abreast of the global financial situation and make instant changes to the strategic plan accordingly * Develop strategies and tactics for the management of the lease business with various merchants and participate in the lease negotiations * Maintain good relationships with stakeholders including joint venture partners, key business groups and associations * Be sensitive to the local market trend and make appropriate adjustment to company's sales strategy * Plan and develop marketing strategy for store presentation and promotional activities Successful candidates should possess: * Bachelor's degree in Business or related field * At least eight years retail store management experience, must have experience managing team of over 200 * Solid experience in regional and marketing leadership with merchandising and financial accountability is preferred. Merchandising and negotiation experiences is a plus * Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively with a wide range of constituencies in a culturally diverse environment * Possess keen sense of business/ financial acumen * Decisive and independent with strong leadership skills, analytical skills and organizational skills * Strong communication and presentation skills in both oral and written * Able to work under pressure and accommodate demanding deadlines * Written and verbal fluency in both English and Chinese is a must * Require to work during weekends occasionally Interested individuals can click apply now and send updated resume (in WORD format) to Kimmie Chan for further information.
