Our client is an international fashion brand. They are now looking for an online merchandising senior caliber. The objective of this person is to develop and implement effective merchandising and planning strategies for the Rest of Asia e-commerce business for the brand, from forecasting and planning to buying and site animation. This position is responsible for the achievement of the Gross Margin financial plans, achieving the sales and profit plans established. This position is also responsible for optimizing the life cycle of products Online which goes from "on-time" product introduction to effective site product Visual merchandizing and product animation calendar.

The objective of this person is to develop and implement effective merchandising and planning strategies for the Rest of Asia e-commerce business for the brand, from forecasting and planning to buying and site animation. This position is responsible for the achievement of the Gross Margin financial plans, achieving the sales and profit plans established. This position is also responsible for optimizing the life cycle of products Online which goes from "on-time" product introduction to effective site product Visual merchandizing and product animation calendar.

Key responsibility include:

Merchandising and Buying strategy
·Accountable for the achievement of e-commerce Gross Margin financial plans for the Rest-Of-Asia for brand.
·Define and implement sales planning and forecast for e-commerce business
·Determine and drive the strategic focus of the overall product area: identify online growth areas, business trends, leverage on retail product assortment, Brand lines performance.
·Ensure products are available-to-market at the right time. Maximize seasonal life cycle
·Ensure tight coordination with Asia Merchandising Calendar
·Formulate and execute the sales plan through the right purchase and through the right product animation plan on the e-commerce site(s).
·Partner with design, corporate merchandising and licensees to ensure that Asia.com's product needs are met.

E-commerce product life cycle management and e-commerce site content/VM management
·Optimize the Visual merchandising of products on the site(s)
·Coordinate the production of product digital assets (including product pictures and description) in tight collaboration with Merchandising and Marketing teams.
·Manage e-commerce inventory and sell-through. minimize excess stock, identify "long inventory" and "out-of-stock" styles
·Collaborate with other departments/parties to ensure that all tasks are successfully executed.
·Provide e-commerce management with appropriate product reporting and status tracking
·Improve practices and processes

Requirements

Experience:
·Senior experience in Merchandising role
·Experience in e-commerce merchandising is a plus
·Fashion Buying experience and OTB process

Education:
·Bachelor's Degree

Skills:
·Acute sense of market and online trends and customer needs, with strong business sense and analytical mind
·A collaborative team player with excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to work with people at all level and from different culture;
·Ability to work in a proactive manner
·Result driven
·Adapts easily to changing situations and demonstrates flexibility in juggling priorities
·Strong computer skills including Excel, Word and merchandise planning system.
·Excellent verbal and written communication skills, strong presentation skills a must
·Able to deliver under high pressure
·Proven ability to mentor and develop staff
·Overseas travel is required.
