Senior Strategy & Corporate Development Manager, Asia Pacific (Luxury Retail)

Our client is a leading luxury fashion brand with international presence. We are assisting them to look for a Senior Strategy & Corporate Development Manager to join their regional team.

Position Responsibilities

* Strategic Planning and Project Support
* Work collaboratively with internal teams and functional leaders to coordinate and identify business priorities and key strategic initiatives (both short term and long term) for the region and individual markets
* Work closely with business controlling team to develop long-range strategic business plans and financial models for performance tracking
* Prepare regular updates for management in relations to strategic agenda and progress
* Work closely with markets and regional functional team to identify key risks and opportunities for the business, and support or lead key ad-hoc projects cross the region to drive business performance
* Team up with sales, marketing and merchandising team to evaluation marketing events and promotion program effectiveness to provide management team with good insight for key trading plans.
* Competitive Intelligence
* Research and analyze organization's financial, organizational, human capital and technical resources and support organization's long-term plan
* Closely monitor and assess competitors' network expansion strategy, pricing, products and services and assess their impact upon the business; where appropriate, adjust strategic and tactical postures that counter and neutralize the initiatives or threats
* Business Development
* Act as internal consultant to provide high-level analysis to identify and validate value creation opportunities for the business
* Lead in M&A activities from target screening, pre-deal assessment/due diligence, valuation and post-deal integration
* Ensure smooth transition of all statutory agreements, provide follow-up, coordination of information and assistance on a variety of activities relating to the business integration process

Position Requirements

* University graduate in business related disciplines, MBA preferred
* Minimum 8 years of relevant work experience with focus on corporate strategy development and competitors research
* Solid financial modelling skills and experience in using various research tools and data sources
* Excellent analytical skills and business orientated mindset: used to working with KPI's and other performance metrics
* Excellent communicator with ability to develop and motivate internal teams to meet tight and aggressive deadlines and goals
* Ambitious and self-driven business developer, with ability to engage excellent business relationships with business partners and service providers
* Prior project management experience in leading multiple work streams for M&A activities is a plus
* Consultant experience will be a plus
