THE GIG
We’re looking for someone who will build community and amplify Dr. Martens’ purpose and values through the day-to-day execution of our social media channels and community-driven marketing tactics. He/she should possess knowledge of and experience with all aspects of social media management, including content strategy and management, consumer engagement, analytics, ambassadors and influencers, and reporting.
THE STUFF THAT SETS YOU APART
· Drive and implement social media, community engagement and influencer strategy for Asia in line with brand strategies and business objectives to maximize awareness and share of voice, build brand equity and strengthen positioning.
· Manage day-to-day execution across all Dr. Martens organic social media channels in alignment with overarching consumer engagement and social media strategies
· Develop and execute a monthly multi-channel content calendar for social platforms (Meta (Instagram), WeChat, Red, Kakao Talk and Line) that supports campaigns and tells the brand story with consistent content and message.
· Roll out robust community management strategy to engage with consumers, KOL, influencers, music partners, events, amplify and curate relevant content.
· Create and provide digital marketing toolkit and social content for countries to activate according to the regional seasonal marketing calendar on social platforms.
· Manage social listening and performance tracking reporting across agencies and platforms to provide learning, optimization plan, and identify the right balance of channel type and frequency to increase success
· Develop metrics and analysis guidelines on social/digital campaign linked to launches, set and agree KPIs with local markets, monitor and evaluate to be able to recommend future action plans that contribute to continuous improving results
· Perform post campaign analysis in timely basis with insight on best performing platform including impression, CTR, and deeper analysis in various areas
· Nurture digital community growth and initiate authentic UGC activation program
· Manage and monitor budgets for various projects, provide status reports on a regular basis and ensure high level of ROI on these activates
· Lead digital media strategy development, partnering with the other departments to deliver consistency in the Brand approach and messaging to consumers
· Leverage industry report and consumer data and insights, define and measure brand equity and support Senior Manager on ongoing analysis and reporting of digital marketing and social media activities
· Develop customer behaviour-targeted communication programs in the areas of data analytics, outbound marketing programs and other social and digital initiatives on different platforms such as WeChat Mini Program, Red, Instagram, Tiktok, Line, Kakao Talk, D365 & Sprinklr
· Work closely with local and global teams to align and standardize workflows and operational processes across the region
· Monitor latest trends in social media, including advertising formats, channels and technologies in order to improve campaign performance and provide recommendations on how Dr. Martens can best leverage new tools and services to support digital branding and business growth

- Degree in Marketing/ Communications / Business or a related discipline
- Minimum 6 years of solid experience in managing digital marketing and social media in apparel / fashion retail industry, experience in global brand business environment preferred.
- In-depth knowledge of Asia social media platforms includingIG, WeChat, Red, Line & Kakao, digital ecosystem and landscape, and social media campaign lifecycle
- Proven experience in planning and managing social media and content marketing showcases
- Experience with creating compelling messages and story to strengthen brand awareness and equity
- Knowledge of CRM technology management, with a strong understanding of marketing, data structure, operational databases, and segmentation, is highly preferred
- A commercial mindset with curiosity to understand the latest consumer trend and behavior
- Proven ability to shift through data, identify critical information and execute fast
- Excellent communicator with strong relationship building, stakeholder management/client service, and negotiation skills
- Proficiency with the Microsoft Office suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook) and familiar with Sprinklr Social
- Excellent command of written and spoken English and Chinese
