POSITION SUMMARY:
Responsible for assisting the execution of buying activities and ensuring smooth communication with shops for designated product categories so as to achieve sales turnover, gross profit and inventory target.

Responsible for assisting the execution of buying activities and ensuring smooth communication with shops for designated product categories so as to achieve sales turnover, gross profit and inventory target.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES/ACCOUNTABILITIES OF THE JOB:
- Assisting the buyer with the selection of the right product
- Writing, placing and tracking purchase orders
- Compiling reports on product performance and statistics weekly and monthly
- Monitor inventory, delivery and reordering situations to ensure a healthy stock level is being maintained
- Monitor sales and sell-through situations and execute strategies to achieve targeted sales and sell through
- Provide internal service to sales operations and other supporting departments regarding merchandise
- Support buyers to prepare seasonal product training material and market research analysis
- Other ad-hoc projects
Experience:
- Minimum 2 years of buying experience in fashion retail
- Degree holder or above in fashion and textile merchandising preferred
- Proficiency in both spoken and written Chinese and English
- Previous experience in the fashion retail industry is a plus
- A good team player with excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
