Our client is an international fashion brand with business in retail and wholesale. They are seeking for an experienced Corporate Counsel to join their regional office in Hong Kong.
Regional experience from MNC
Legal Support for all Business Units in APAC
Strong in contract drafting
Provide legal support to business units and functions in Asia, excluding China and Taiwan.
Work as a trusted business partner to give advice in managing legal risk while achieving business goals.
Draft and review commercial contracts including commercial leasing, store fit-out, e-commerce, wholesale, franchising, sponsorship, marketing and procurement agreements.
Provide legal advice on online activities and consumer issues with consideration in data protection and consumer protection, as well as product liability, product labeling, customer disputes etc.
Support corporate secretarial advise and prepare documents in relation to shareholders meetings.
Participate in due diligence and undertake business conduct investigations. Responsible for training on legal and compliance topics to all staff.
5 years regional experience gained from MNC with experience working for top-tier law firm. General corporate and commercial work highly preferred.
Strong understanding of company secretarial, corporate, contract, consumer protection, employment, data protection, competition and anti-corruption law.
Strong in drafting and negotiation skills.
Native in written and spoken English.
