Job description

Drive the customer service strategy in a new, rapidly growing customer service to provide excellent service to US apparel companies, buying office and garment factories.

Responsible for overall supervision for the customer service team, oversee and monitor all customer enquires, samples to customers, sales documents and shipping documents are processed adhering to pre-determined schedule as well as providing commentary analysis to senior management for both Hong Kong & China operations.

Refine workflows and procedures and strengthen internal control, improving the business procedures and efficiency.

Work closely with other departments to drive and implement operational processes and procedures as needed throughout Talon.

Lead purchasing team to ensure all purchasing orders are issued in the right price and quantity.

Investigate and handle customers’ complaints for defective and damaged trims.

Conduct work process analysis and give recommendation to improve team efficiency and effectiveness.

Coach, develop and motivate team members to ensure the business is executed in line with Company’s direction and procedures

Prepare regular management reports for senior management review.

You will also assist in other ad-hoc projects such as operational control and process review, system implementation, etc.

Profile

Form 5 or above
Minimum 10 years experience in trims industry with at least 5 years in managerial position.
Must have solid experience in handling customers and monitoring production schedule, experience creating, leading and maintaining a scalable customer service organization.
Must possess strong leadership skills, flexibility, initiative, and the ability to think creatively.
Must be able to work in a fast paced environment and possess excellent organization and time management skills, be self-motivated and energetic.
Analytical, strong problem solving skills and interpersonal skills
Must be able to communicate effectively both with the local team and the U.S. team.
Experience in trading and/or sourcing industries would be an advantage.
Excellent interpersonal skills, sound managerial and analytical mind with good business acumen and “hands-on” approach are essential.
Ability to tackle additional duties and challenges as the firm continues to grow rapidly.
Possess an entrepreneurial, “can-do” attitude that can be substantiated by past performance.
Initiative and integrity are key requisites to this management position.
Able and willing to openly share ideas, communicate effectively, and meaningfully contribute.
Possess and demonstrate an unwavering commitment to achieving goals and delivering optimal results.
