Job description

Key Purpose of the Job:
To manage overall Dealer Markets’ brand development, sales and performance in Asia Pacific (including travel retail, APAC).
To identify & maximize retail expansion opportunities, lead and manage changes of channels mix (including market conversion)
To manage and develop DTC markets of Singapore and other SEA markets after conversion
Key Area of Responsibility:
Overall business management
- Manage & own the brands business P & L in dealers markets including travel retail
- Develop whitespace markets and new partnership
- Build long range 5 years total sales, AGM and OI plan
- Provide accurate annual & monthly sales/GM forecasts
- Execute the business action plan with reference to brands guidelines
- Provide market intelligence and competitive analysis to brand team
Distributors & wholesale business
- Identify and build overall dealers markets and distribution strategies
- Study/plan to maximize profitable conversion possibility to own retail and manage the process
- Organize sales meeting 2 times a year and annual business plan meeting. Provide directions and action plan to wholesale customers
- Manage customers credit risks and responsible for AR
- Improve brand exposure and penetration thru wholesale accounts
- Drive to improve partners’ retail comp growth and retail productivity
- Monitor sell-thru and inventory health and ensure actions by dealers
- Lead to build local marketing plan aligned with brand direction
- Facilitate merchandising needs brief from key countries to channel effectively to regional merchandising team
SEA DTC business
- Oversee retail P&L,
- Sales & channel expansion
- Own 5 year development plan & strategies
- Build retail operation team and competence to deliver the goals and KPI
- Work closely with merchandising/buy and marketing team on launch and marketing calendarMarketing and merchandising
- Build and lead the channel marketing and launch plan, with support from product/merchandising and marketing teams who execute/deliver the plan
- Ensure customer and consumers feedback re product design is transferred to the brand merchandising/design teams
- Makes projections & commitments by style during line freeze/ forecast meeting
- Place wholesale order and manage total inventory DSIPeople management
- Build an overall inviting, supportive, professional, consumer-driven & entrepreneur team.
- Set clear goals/aspiration and objectives and motivate the team to achieve all targets and lead the changes to support VFA/Kipling AP direction
- Build talent development plan and support their growth
System and process management
- Lead team to manage SAP and to perform
- Retail system and process driver, lead retail operation manager/team to execute
