Working on one or several key technology and functional business projects concurrently, provide business analytics and technical solutions designed to integrate key systems, improve processes, and automate data exchange. Provide user support and assistance to the Aesop Asia Service Desk function for specialist technical problem-solving across critical Aesop Asia Retail locations specifically focused on integration troubleshooting. Liaise with external technical vendors to oversee and manage the delivery of technical improvements. Solve problems and implement improvements across the business including managing user adoption through training and communications. Design, build, test and deploy integrations across the business and with 3rd parties as required.

Job description

Main Responsibilities

Technical Business Analysis, Integration Configuration and Support

·Support and maintain the Integration Platform (MuleSoft) to ensure data integration among systems are working according to SLAs.

·Maintain and resolve Service Desk tickets according to ITIL standards.

·Build sufficient documentation in our Knowledge Base for FAQs and common issues.

·Proactively monitor for integration-related issues and recommend fine-tuning and improvements of the current solution.

·Work on technology projects to provide technical analytics and solutions on problem areas, along with suggesting improvements to our business solutions.

·Coordinate with external software vendors to perform investigations and assist in providing technical solutions.

·Sound business logic and problem-solving skills, along with an understanding of the retail industry and eCommerce trends to recommend technology advancements for integration solutions.

Team Support

·Assist the Technology Manager (Asia) and Asia Service Desk team to:

·Provide escalated IT integrations support for all staff at Asia Head Office, retail locations, and subsidiary locations.

·Troubleshoot integrations issues and problems as escalated by the business.

·Coordinate integrations support from established external vendors where necessary.

·Ensure the security and integrity of Head Office and retail integration systems and data.

·Adhere to Aesop IT standards, procedures, and governance.

·Facilitate strong communication between Asia Head Office and other locations establishing relationships with key stakeholders.

·Log in remotely to distributed locations to perform escalated support duties or integration troubleshooting.

Staff Training

·Support the Asia Technology Team to develop appropriate integration system skills within the Asia Region.

·Prepare training documentation on related subject matter for knowledge sharing.

·Liaise with appropriate business stakeholders to coordinate and perform IT integration training.

·Proactively understand and implement on-going IT integration training requirements of head office and retail staff.

Reporting & Documentation

·Ensure integrations documentation and procedures are maintained and kept relevant and up to date.

·Maintain and contribute to the technology knowledge base.

·Provide non-technical integration documentation to business users to assist with the education of business staff.



·Solid experience with supporting middleware integration platforms such as MuleSoft, Boomi, GitHub, and Sumo Logic or similar integration systems.

·Experience with various integration technologies, including APIs and flat file integrations.

·Solid experience with API integration and Postman software, or other API tools.

·Hands-on experience with SQL scripting, JSON, XML & Schema technologies.

·A strong understanding of relational databases and advanced working knowledge of SQL queries.

·Experience managing cloud-based platforms, with AWS infrastructure experience preferred.

·Experience working with various scripting languages (JavaScript or similar preferred).

·Experience in Integration Support with ERP, Retail POS, eCommerce, CRM, China Apps (Wechat, Wecom, Tmall), Warehouse Systems (WMS).

·Working knowledge of end-to-end testing, and preparation and validation of test scripts.

·A good understanding of project, issue, and test tracking software, using tools like Jira.

·A good understanding of data processing, hardware platforms, and enterprise software applications with a specific focus on integration technologies, methods and middleware.

·Understanding the business model in fashion / apparel / luxury / industries is an advantage.

·Excellent written and oral communication skills in English and fluent in spoken Chinese (Putonghua) and written Chinese (both Traditional and Simplified Chinese).

·Excellent listening and interpersonal skills.

·Ad-hoc duties outside office hours may be required
