Job description

PURPOSE OF ROLE

The Learning and Development Executive has responsibility for the coordination and administration of a range of learning and development activities and projects as well as ensuring the development and maintenance of robust learning and development systems and processes.

Primary Accountabilities

  • Partner with Global Talent Team RO and markets regarding employee training needs
  • Recommend internal and external training programs to address training needs
  • Organize or source internal or external training programs to meet specific training needs
  • Liaise with trainers/facilitators regarding instructional design, logistics and other requests
  • Develop training aids such as job aids, manuals and handbooks
  • Communicate and champion training programmes for employee development
  • Create and monitor training registration, invitation and participation
  • Apply training evaluation tools to measure training effectiveness
  • Track and report on training outcomes through internal communication channels
  • Provide feedback to program participants, trainers/facilitators and management team
  • Maintain regional employee training records and update global team on monthly basis
  • Handle logistics for training activities including training materials, visual aids, venues and equipment
  • Coordinate off-site training activities for employees
  • Manage and maintain in-house training facilities, materials and equipment
  • Support on yearly training plan, budget management and handling of invoices

Profile

What we are looking for

  • Good command of Microsoft office tools Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Forms. Knowledge of using SharePoint, Workday, and Yammer preferred.
  • Knowledge or experience in designing engaging training collateral materials
  • Strong written and communication skills (both English and Chinese).
  • Ability to work smoothly with different teams across office and retail in different locations and strong problem-solving skills
  • Possess creativity and a growth mindset to continuously find new ways to improve training and internal communications for employees
  • Hands-on experience coordinating multiple training events in a corporate setting
  • Knowledge of instructional design theory and implementation
  • Exceptional organization skills, leadership and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work with a team and have attention to details
