Primary Accountabilities:
Main Responsibilities
- Understand the Aesop strategy and brand values and ensure that all local marketing activity is consistent with that strategy and those values.
- Understand overall Aesop business KPI and work with Marketing Manager to ensure the business performance is adequate with its plans.
- Support on all marketing operations, analysis and reporting.
- Execute local production, dispatch and installation of all campaign materials and communications (including in-store POSM, VM, PR/Communication assets and Customer communication assets) for retail, PR and digital, according to manager's direction and Global Marketing guidelines.
- Liaise with internal stakeholders (VM, Training and Retail teams) and external suppliers, department stores and malls to ensure smooth and high-quality executions.
- Help maintain and track expenses and budgets.
- Support coordination of press events, media interviews and store visits; this would require occasionally working outside regular hours.
- Support press event planning and execution including material sourcing, vendor liaising, logistics management, etc.
- Coordinate press packs to meet Global Marketing guidelines. Includes sourcing recommended items, and liaising with VM and PR agency to ensure correct assembly.
- Update and maintain sample product stock and sundries with PR agency.
- Update and maintain online database of media releases and imagery for stores, offices, product, services and brand campaigns.
- Update and maintain PR and social listening/tracking reports and analysis.
- Support coordination and execution of retail marketing activation, including in-store gestures, client communications, VM and events.
- Organize and liaise with vendors for store opening/relocation preparations, assets and communications.
- Occasionally work outside office hours to support store events and attend monthly trade meetings.
- Support planning and execution for customer communication, including eDM, MMS, store communication materials.
- Support Whatsapp Business account launch - content preparation, communication calendar planning and management
- Support digital asset preparation.
- Support other digital marketing initiatives as necessary
- Organize product logistics and deliveries to fulfill sponsorship agreements.
- Support sponsorship event coordination and execution.
- Contribute to Quarterly Marketing reports and other reports necessary.
- Complete qualitative analysis for campaign and event performance.
- Conduct competitive and industry landscape research and analysis.
- Asset translation proofreading both in Traditional and Simplified Chinese.
- Prepare presentations, reports, and other documents as required.
- File and maintain Marketing folders online and offline.
- Translation related experience.
- Marketing and PR working experiences are required.
- Fluent in Cantonese and English in speaking and writing (Both Traditional and Simplified Chinese are required).
- Speaking Mandarin is a plus.
- Solid analytical skills, creative thinking and problem-solving attitude.
- Strong communications and interpersonal skills.
- Attention to detail and organized, proficient in MS Office skills.
