Job description

Material development and sourcing – understanding what’s available in the market, the strengths and capabilities of the vendor base  to offer product which is correct for trend, function and fit for purpose.

Critical path management for general sampling, RMS approval, fitting sample and lab dips.

Manage confinement of raw materials.

Manage price quotations for new materials and initial price negotiations with suppliers.

Attend seasonal Design Workshops.

Attend all vendor meetings with relevant Designers.

Coordinate with CQA for the testing of incoming materials and RMS verification.

Information relating to the creation of Sample Reference Card in SAP.

Follow up material issuing to Design, CQA and warehouse.

Follow up requisition from supplier.

Follow up enquiries from Design, RTVA and suppliers.

Technical assurance of all materials.

Organize and execute the hand over information to RMP at the end of the development cycle.

General coordination and support to internal departments and suppliers.

Awareness of market trends and influences


  • At least 2 years experience in a similar role, preferably with experience in the lingerie industry (fresh graduate welcome).
  • Reliable, ability to listen, attention to detail, enthusiasm and good inter-personnel and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and make decisions.
  • Language Skills – Cantonese, English, Mandarin.
  • IT proficiency  Excel, Microsoft Words, PowerPoint.
  • Other skills – good organization and communication skills.
  • Mobility – ability to travel freely overseas and within HK/China.
