Position Summary

This position is a strategic resource to develop and execute free trade agreement strategies for the Asia Pacific and Middle East Region as well as ensure executional compliance at the Vendor, 3PL level.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

To manage end to end execution from product development to bulk production

- Sourcing:

- to formulate and execute the short- & long-term sourcing strategy to support the needs and growth of Under Armour.

- Optimized Vendor Management: to support and maintain vendor relationship, smart allocation per vendors' capability & capacity

- Costing:

- to validate costing details and conduct negotiation with vendors by data driven approach; creates cost scenarios & data maintenance in Armoury.

- Pre-alert & communicate with HQ Sourcing Counterpart for margin challenge to work the possible adjustment for costing improvement

- Planning:

- to review the seasonal forecast and coordinate capacity planning with T1.

- Production:

- SMS/Bulk Production PO management & risk assessment/mitigation to achieve on-time delivery; validate & manage materials MOQ liability record

Efficient Communication:

- To socialize with HK materials /trims Teams for Team specific calendars & vendors for capacity planning to protect the demand service.

- To work collaboratively with QA team to download product specification/discussion from product development to production, and production issue resolutions.

- To be the problem solver and business partner with respective counter parts in HQ. Being able to predicate any potential issue/ changes by providing with TNA options & follow up to close the loop

- Being proactive to manage up to report to supervisors for the status against the milestones or critical issue

Interface with vendors:

- To act as liaison between T1 and the Under Armour Hong Kong and HQ concerning all development and production related issues.

- To establish connection with UA vendors & initiate the process improvement

Other duties assigned as needed.

Qualifications (Knowledge, Skills & Abilities)

- Polytechnic / IVE graduate in Merchandising, Garments, Textile or related discipline

- 3 years solid experience in sourcing sportswear products independently

- Experiences in US buying office is essential

- Effective oral and written communication skills in both English and Chinese, proficient in Mandarin

- Mature, independent, detail-minded, initiative, stable with good interpersonal and communication skills

- Proficient in Excel
