Job description

Position Summary:

Partnering with key stakeholders and leveraging a variety of internal and external resources across the APAC region and local markets, this role will help to plan and drive projects execution, reports on progress, manages risks/issues and escalation to the management team as needed to ensure successful delivery of the projects and project pipeline.

This role will be focused on managing Business Transformation projects across the APAC region that are cross markets and cross functional.

Primary Responsibilities/Accountabilities

  • Project planning: develop project charter and overview, detail project plan and timeline, calling out areas of dependencies, key inputs/outputs/deliverables, ...
  • Stakeholder management: work with key stakeholders to ensure project implementation is successful (e.g., planning meetings, co-developing key deliverables, ...)
  • Execution: drive the day-to-day project management for key regional programs and projects including all associated activities
  • Best practices: develop and implement best practices for project and program management, working closely with the business and support function leads at the regional level and in the countries
  • Tracking: track and follow-up on key actions plans to drive the projects forward on a daily basis, escalating as needed to ensure success
  • Completion of other activities as assigned by manager
Qualifications & Experience

Experience: Broad knowledge & skills - typically 5-8 Years of related experience

Education: Bachelor Degree Required

Qualifications:

  • A minimum of 6 years experience managing midsize cross functional projects with high levels of complexity and stakeholders
  • Experience in managing Digital, Supply Chain, Logistics and IT projects at the regional level
  • Ability to multi-task and to influence
  • Ability to work fast paced and strategically
  • Familiarity with the retail industry a plus
Knowledge/Skills Required:

  • Independent, organized and adaptable to change
  • Critical thinking with strong problem solving skills
  • Detailed oriented, strong analytical and people skills
  • Self-motivator with strong work ethic
  • Fluency in English, Cantonese and Mandarin
  • Efficient in using the project management tool (MS Projects/Smartsheet/Asana)
