POSITION PURPOSE
The Regional FP&A Analyst is responsible for supporting across finance and operational departments to provide financial insights and projections with reliable data and analysis to be used in decision making and planning.
Your responsibilities include, but not limited to, budgeting, forecasting, financial planning and ad-hoc reporting. To excel in this role, candidate would expect to have exceptional technical, social and organizational skills that are able to meet deadlines in an orderly and timely way. Moreover, such candidate would be able to work across different individuals in different geographies in the Asia-Pacific region to coordinate different reporting requirements that are used at the regional level.

Job description

Main Responsibilities

  • Prepare accurate monthly financial reports with reliable data and analysis to be used in decision making and planning
  • Assist in reviewing of monthly accounts for accuracy, variances and trends to budget and forecast
  • Assist Regional Senior FP&A analyst (RSFA) in overall budgeting and monthly forecasting process, including timing and consolidation of information to provide analysis for management review
  • Assist in the preparation of presentations that provide insightful analysis and identify required action items
  • Assist RSFA in process improvement and streamline procedures across the region as it relates to financial budgeting and forecasting
  • Other ad-hoc tasks or projects, that contribute towards influencing commercial decision-making process as it relates to financial budgeting and forecasting
  • Build and develop strong relationships with internal stakeholders within regional team and across the Asia-Pacific region
  • Be an active team member by demonstrating a willingness to help and support others

Profile

Requirements:
  • University degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration OR related disciplines

  • CPA qualification is preferred, relevant experience with Big 4 is a plus

  • Relevant experience in financial planning and analysis, business analysis, management reporting or management consulting

  • Strong attention to detail and inclination for problem-solving

  • Strong analytical and communication skills

  • Ability to learn quickly, manage multiple tasks and adapt to new environments

  • Strong Microsoft Office Suite skills (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, PowerBI, etc.)

  • Proficient in written and spoken English

  • Fluency in Chinese, and/ or other Asian language skill is an advantage

  • Experience with NetSuite and/or Anaplan is an advantage
