Job description
Primary Accountabilities
General
General
- Delivering artwork for use across all print media, Aesop websites and eDMs
- Develop and improve on FA processes and systems
- Typesetting
- Manage folder systems, keep up to date records and administration of relevant artwork files
- Assist with maintaining Digital Asset library
- Finished art project coordination on projects such as product launch campaigns
- Being up to date with job and print specifications
- Technical and problem solving
- Advocate and uphold Aesop's aesthetic codes and culture
- General assistance with project work and administrative tasks, as required
- Good knowledge of e-commerce and Social Media platforms TMall, WeChat, Weibo, LRB (CN), Kakao (KR), LINE (JP)
- Solid understanding of preparing print-ready artwork: postcards, brochures, leaflets, sponsorship ads
- Preparing In-store communication assets such as window vinyl, light boxes, price lists and other POS material
- In-store specific: prepare price lists and other POS material
- Products: prepare products labels and packaging
- Stationery: prepare envelopes, business cards, with compliments cards, folders and other branded artwork
- Assist with press checks
- Integration of photos and graphical elements from briefs supplied
- Update website graphics as required
- Prepare customer emails and global newsletters
- Assist in on-going web asset updates
- Degree Qualified in Graphic Design or a similar field, highly regarde
- Solid year of Finished Art experience in an in-house team, digital studio or print house
- Meticulous attention to detail, creativity and flair while meeting requirements of the brief and business
- Strong proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator) and simple digital editing skills such as Adobe After Effects or Premiere Pro is beneficial.
- Proven experience managing multiple projects with strict time-dependent deliverables
- Strong understanding of pre-press and preparing print-ready artwork, from small to large scale marketing, store design and creative collaterals.
- Advanced image retouching and typesetting skills.
- Strong time management and organisation skills with the ability to multitask, prioritise, and maintain folder systems and digital asset library.
- Strong sense of initiative and highly detail oriented, adhering to guidelines where required with excellent follow through skills.
- Natural, clear communicator with excellent stakeholder management skills.
- Knowledge of cloud-based project management apps (Monday.com and/or similar) and proficient in use of Microsoft Office 365 highly regarded.
- Passionate about the brand and artwork, with continuous improvement of team's efficacy in mind
- Experience in managing at least one team member will be a plus
