Job description
Our client is a well-known international high fashion brand, they are looking for a Senior Material Technical Manager focus on soft woven fabric.
Job duties:
* Manage all material (fabric & trims) technical issues, driving fabric risk assessment process and standards internally.
* Work closely with fabric R&D team, support fabric development & bulk by fabric technical knowledge.
* Establish all woven fabric standards, tools and process to meet the internal & external requirements.
* Collaborate with fabric R&D, PD, sourcing, Quality teams to set up fabric standards and meet calendar deadlines SMS through production.
* Work on fabric approval process and assist in fabric manual updates.
* Work closely with mills, testing labs and PD team to oversee quality of all bulk material (construction, finishing, hand feel, color, print and fiber content).
* Provide input to global Raw Materials sourcing strategy.
Requirements:
* both written and spoken English, Cantonese and Mandarin.
