Job description

Principal Accountabilities:
Sub Job Family Description: Provides day-to-day technical support to employees for network infrastructure, internal desktop systems, software, and hardware. Installs, configures and troubleshoots moderately complex issues regarding desktop systems, workstations, servers and network. Maintains passwords, data integrity and file system security for the desktop environment. May conduct training programs designed to educate an organization's computer users about basic and specialized applications. ___Under broad supervision:* Provide day-to-day technical support to employees for network infrastructure, internal desktop systems, software, and hardware* Install, configure and troubleshoot moderately complex issues regarding desktop systems, workstations, servers and network* Maintain passwords, data integrity and file system security for the desktop environment* May conduct training programs designed to educate computer users about basic and specialized applications

Profile

* Bachelor's degree in Information Technology or related field *Equivalent years of experience in a substantially similar industry may be considered in lieu of a degree to be determined by the nature of the specific job and the hiring manager's criteria* Three to five years of related experience preferred* Strong written and oral communication skills
Knowledge & Application:
* Understands and applies the principles and practices in a recognized professional field requiring extensive academic preparation* Likely to be newly professionally qualified in a specific field, or will have extensive experience in complex technical area* Determines a course of action based on guidelines and modifies processes and methods as required* Generally requires knowledge of company policies, practices, and procedures
